Media Production Services
Making your case is about more than just words on a page. Visual and multi-media communications are essential. We have experience producing and creating a variety of video, audio, web, and social media content in support of our clients and their brands.
Elevate Pride
In her work as Director of Foundation Relations and Strategic Communications for PFund Foundation, Kate serves as the creative director and head of visual branding for PFund. The foundation is the only LGBTQ+ community foundation serving the entire upper Midwest. As such, the annual Pride celebrations held in June are a huge part of the foundation’s outreach, communications, and community-building strategies.
For PFund’s 2022 Elevate Pride campaign, Kate worked with senior foundation staff to create a campaign that focused on queer joy, love, and resistance. Rather than emphasizing the barriers and challenges facing LGBTQ+ people in an increasingly-hostile political climate, the campaign stressed the strength, diversity, and solidarity of queer communities. A digital media campaign was supplemented by a one-minute video summarizing the work PFund Foundation does across the region. The foundation also curated a Spotify playlist that dropped during Pride week.
DJing and custom playlists
We’ve built custom soundtracks and fully-mixed DJ sets for events around the Twin Cities, including the 125th Party at MCAD, the MCAD Art Sale, the Auction at MCAD, the Moxie Awards, Pride parties, and gay weddings. We are happy to help you set the mood for your event with custom-curated and mixed beats.
The playlist here was created as part of PFund Foundation’s 2022 Elevate Pride promotional campaign. Examples of fully mixed, beat-matched, and mastered DJ sets are available upon request.
Greater Minnesota Arts Initiative
Kate teamed up with Clint Bohaty to produce a video of the collaborative community arts project completed by Minneapolis College of Art and Design and MacRostie Art Center in the summer of 2018. Kate produced the video, scouted locations, and licensed the drone footage from a local community member.
Digital media account management and content production
Kate has managed the social media accounts of former Minnesota Secretary of State Mark Ritchie and former MCAD president Jay Coogan, and has created content for the websites and social media feeds of the Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State, Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Melodee Strong Studios, Obvio Group, and PFund Foundation. In 2022, she served as the creative director and project lead for the full migration of PFund Foundation’s web presence off of WordPress and onto Squarespace.
Equally comfortable creating or curating content, she is fluent in a variety of digital platforms that help people and organizations get their key messages out to target audiences. Images are from Kate’s personal Instagram account.
